Designed as a follow up to the “Innovation and Emerging Digital Techniques in Implant Dentistry” lecture, two unique hands-on courses were created and designed for the restorative doctors to experience firsthand the digital workflow with a live patient and hands-on models.

Implant Dentistry is a team effort between the surgical practice, Restorative dentist and dental laboratory. Our hands-on courses where created to further the development a cohesive team.  


Hands on - BASIC

Time: 1 to 2 hours

Where: surgeon’s office

How Many: up to 10 General Practitioners

Includes:

  • Live scan demo by surgeon (no implant)
  • Lecture

    • Digital workflow

    • Principles of prosthetic driven implant dentistry,

    • Cement Retained vs. Screw Retained

    • Explanation of tissue displacement

    • Seating and touring abutment techniques,

    • Precision fit kit

    • Restorative materials

    • Cementation techniques

  • Hand out Allure folders (digital referral RX and explain document and fee structure)

  • Delivery of the abutment and crown with Hands-On Kits

      • No tissue displacement

      • Tissue displacement

Hands on - Advanced

Witness a live demonstration of the entire intra-oral scanning process and the final delivery of the abutment and crown by one of Allure Dental Studio's digital specialists.

Time: 2 to 4 hours

Where: surgeon’s office

How Many: up to 10 General Practitioners

Includes:

  • Live implant scan demo by surgeon and delivery of final abutment and restoration by GP. (The final abutment and restoration was completed ahead of time prior to the event)
  • Specialist scans the Patient live

  • Lecture
